Andrea Robottom
Founder of NoNonsense OE Consulting Ltd
Co-Author of The Effectiveness Edge™
No Nonsense ConsultingAndrea Robottom is a leading voice in organisation effectiveness — the person leaders call when something isn't working and the cause is elusive. With over 35 years of global experience across every major sector, she founded NoNonsense Consulting in 2009 to bring rigorous, no-nonsense diagnosis to the organisations that need it most.
Known for her candour, clarity, and ability to cut through complexity, Andrea helps CEOs and senior executives identify what is truly blocking performance — then act on it. Her work has spanned 40+ countries across FMCG, beer, financial services, med tech, retail, utilities, hospitality and not for profit.
Before founding NoNonsense Consulting, Andrea held senior leadership roles at Cadbury, where she was the Global Organisation Development Director, leading organisation effectiveness, design and cultural transformation on a global scale, and at PepsiCo, where she served as Vice President HR for European Beverages, leading the people agenda across fourteen countries and eight factories. Earlier in her career, she held senior roles at Seagram and Compaq. During her time running NoNonsense Consulting, a client engagement at Standard Life (formerly Phoenix Group) grew into a three-year part-time job share role with Vanessa — a testament to the depth of partnership she brings to her work.
Andrea is the co-author of The Effectiveness Edge™: How Organisation Effectiveness Unlocks Performance, which introduces the 3D-OE Diagnostic Framework™ — publishing 17th November 2026.
Andrea is an accredited Mediator and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD). She is also a Trustee of Precious Sisters, a charity supporting girls' education in Kenya.
Outside of work, Andrea loves tennis, playing family games, cooking, and exploring the world with her family.

Vanessa Loughlin
Founder of Organisation Matters Ltd
Co-Author of The Effectiveness Edge™
Organisation MattersVanessa Loughlin is a leading practitioner in organisation effectiveness, and she holds a clear view that most organisations aren't held back by strategy; they're held back by the way they're designed to work. Vanessa has spent 35 years understanding the issues that get in the way and working out how to address them. Founder of Organisation Matters Ltd, she partners with CEOs and executive teams to cut through complexity, surface the hidden costs and build the confidence to make organisation decisions that create real competitive advantage.
With experience across UK and global businesses including Motorola, Vodafone, Virgin Media, Barclays, Aviva and Standard Life (formerly Phoenix Group), Vanessa specialises in diagnosing and resolving complex issues to unlock organisation, team and individual performance.
She is a systems thinker and a straight talker — guided by clarity over complexity, truth over comfort and impact over activity. Curious enough to ask the questions others avoid and experienced enough to know what to do with the answers. Every engagement starts with genuine understanding, not assumptions.
Her partnership with co-author Andrea Robottom began in an unusual way — the two shared a senior role at Standard Life, forming a working relationship built on debate, challenge and rigour. Out of that collaboration came the 3D-OE Diagnostic Framework™ — the methodology at the heart of The Effectiveness Edge™ — How Organisation Effectiveness Unlocks Performance, publishing 17th November 2026.
Vanessa holds an MSc in Organisation Consulting from Ashridge Business School, is a trained Transactional Analyst and a Chartered Member of the CIPD. Outside work, she finds balance in family life, long walks with her dog and painting.
